I am curious how many people are losing faith in our court systems now, as a result of these lawsuits. I understand some of the legal points made and why they were decided that way, but especially in the Georgia case, telling the plaintiffs that they did not file the suit early enough is ridiculous. How could they file it any earlier than the election results getting released?
As a police officer, I learned a long time ago that courts were not truly allowed to make rulings based on right or wrong, just or injustice, fair or unfair. The rulings must be based on the law and nothing else. But I doubt many citizens realize that. They believe that courts would at least provide a fair hearing and make a reasonable ruling on the laws involved. I think these rulings are now actually causing many people to believe that they can't get a fair hearing in court now. I think people felt that the soapbox has failed in many areas, now they are beginning to feel the ballot box and jury box are also failing. That will force them to use the fourth box and that is not a good thing IMO. It is going to come more quickly than I thought.

Re: "Release the Kraken" ???
I don't think you can trust that article too much. He says the Kraken is the nickname for the 304th MI Battalion and that this battalion identified the countries who used the hammer and scorecard system to interfere in the election. The problem is the 305th is a training battalion at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona and is solely responsible for the training of new recruits in the MOS (military occupational specialties) of 35G (Geospatial Imagery Intelligence Analyst) and 35F (All Source Intelligence Analyst). Here is a link to B company's Facebook page showing the trainees (sometimes even Facebook can be useful).

That is an interesting argument. I wonder if the court response will also say these complaints are invalid because they have spelling errors, run on or split sentences, missing spaces, or other grammatical errors. Somehow, i think the court would ask for an answer to the points made, not just dismiss it for bad typing.philip964 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 12:41 pm https://news.yahoo.com/conspiracy-theor ... 22276.html
A story from a bigger news source the Independent.
Suits full of errors.

Re: "Release the Kraken" ???
I was just curious if everyone has considered the full ramifications of the two lawsuits in Georgia and Michigan. Assuming that Powell wins both of her lawsuits and gets everything she asks for, Biden still wins the electoral college. The two states have 16 votes each. If the courts agree and direct those votes to go to Trump, we can add 32 votes to the 232 he currently has. He still would not get to the 270 mark required. Assuming that she only partially wins and neither state gets to name electors at all by Dec. 14, then believe it or not, Biden still wins. It would lower the required total from half + 1 of 538 (270) to half +1 of 504 (253). The Constitution does not say that it requires half of the possible votes, but half of the APPOINTED electors. Trump still comes up short and Biden still has the majority.
To change the outcome of the election would require a third state with at least 6 votes to move. And it would require those votes to actually go to Trump, not just not be appointed. Trump not only needs Powell's lawsuits in Georgia and Michigan, but he needs the Supreme Court to order PA to go the same way. Much as I would like that all to happen, I just don't see it coming true.
I believe that the lawsuits will show that we do have massive fraud in our elections, but we always have had that (well at least since Boss Tweed and the Tammany Hall scandal in the 1850s).

Re: "Release the Kraken" ???
I do not think anything will change this election's results. They have already shown where Dominion software changed votes in this election, but it was described as a "glitch" and they were corrected.
The real problem lies in what are the possible solutions if they prove there is fraud. In lower level cases, the courts historically have either declared the election null and ordered a new one, or in rare instances declared a winner. I cannot see either of these happening in this election. The way our system is set up, the electoral college is the actual election, so if they declare this one invalid, it would be up to the states to convene their legislatures to pick the electors and tell them how to vote. I think the best we could hope for is that the court will declare the elections in some states null and void and the legislatures would pick the electors. I think that would still give Biden the win because they are not states that are controlled by Republicans. If it doesn't give Biden the win outright, then we could only hope for no majority in the electoral college and the house deciding who wins. I think Trump would win that but I am not sure.
This is the real problem. Even if Trump wins his lawsuits, what can the court do to solve the problem before the December 14 Electoral College vote?
