Re: HB 357 Constitutional Carry
Kentucky just passed constitutional carry and the governor already signed it. One more state whose republicans care more about their citizens rights than these clowns we vote for in TX. Starting to think the only way I’ll see my constitutional rights as they are meant to be is by moving out of state.

Re: State Fair
I went last week. Saw the cop at the entrance, made eye contact and held my LTC so he could see. He pointed to his sidearm and I nodded. He waved me over, checked my ID and let me pass. As a side note, the females with me put there purses on a table before going through the metal detector. They walk...

Re: 2017 Wait time
Renewal sent 9/1. Interesting that it now says "fingerprints being reviewed". I don't know what that means, given I had electronic prints done for my initial license. Print pending as of today. That was quicker than I expected after 9/1 fee reduction. Mailed today. That's 18 days. I'm not...

Re: B Tactical in Caddo Mills
B Tactical has different fees for different parts of the range. We rented the steel range for $10 per person for an hour - there were 7 of us. I think if you just want to go shoot targets it's $17 for the day. Don't know who owns Garland. It is still in the same place, but heard they may be moving.

B Tactical in Caddo Mills
Went there last weekend. Great range. Shot steel (pistol only) and some rifle, but the rifle benches aren't very comfortable. Nice to go to a range with friendly RSOs. These guys were awsome. And they go by the honor system - just tell them what you did, even what you took from their shop at the end...

Re: Florida Misdemeanor
If any out of state misdemeanor has any amount of jail time as a "possible" punishment, it's considered a class A misd. I'm almost certain you will be denied. It doesn't matter if you served any jail time or not. It's based on if the charge has a possibility of jail time as a punishment. ...

Re: Current on line renewal wait times?
I'm right at six months out of my first renewal. Am curious as to what it entails. Do they require all of the same documents as the original license (like court disposition paperwork) to be resubmitted? How about the cost - are they retroactively applying the $40 cost or are they hitting you for $70...

Re: HB1911: Rep. White's Press Release
This is a flaw with unlicensed carry and federal law. To fix this issue you would have to go to the federal level and correct the problem there. I'll get excited about this when that is dealt with. At minimum, we need an unofficial mandate to federal LEO like what was done in the pot legalization s...

Re: HB1911: Rep. White's Press Release
So what's the solve for federal statute that requires a CHl from the resident state to legally pass through a school zone? Are we supposed to ignore this? 1. GFSZA requires a license from the state the school is in, not a resident license. 2. MPA already opened that can of worms. Ok, I stand correc...

So what's the solve for federal statute that requires a CHl from the resident state to legally pass through a school zone? Are we supposed to ignore this? Wish the powers that be who are involved in this constitutional carry fight would address this. They all seem to be missing this very important f...

Re: Tax Free 2nd Amendment Items
I'd buy a lot more of my guns at Grab A Gun and CDNN if they did away with sales tax. But it adds too much to the cost so I typically order them from out of state.
