Where are you located Daf?When I saw yours was delivered within 6 days, I was like okay, sweet, I'll get mine the 27th because the 22nd was thanksgiving, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and still no plastic :(

average time in bkg review is 3 full weeks. 6 weeks is not unheard of. You can send an email inquiry but they won't answer until end of next week, at which time your status will have probably changed. No. Don't call. They take average 3 weeks to update your status. Wait 24 days from the day you mailed it (not counting weekend or holidays like today) before you call.element80 wrote:Still nothing but, "License Status: Application processed online. It has been 25 days since I completed the application, 18 days since I mailed my packet (photos, chl-100 etc)...some of yall seem to have had updates already. Should I call the DPS?

You may consider getting invovled in IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association). It is a fun, safety oriented, defensive shooting competition geared towards novices like us. It is an awesome way to practice techniques for real life situations that a CHL licensee might face. It's relatively inexpensive to get involved in. You use your gear you already have, not some tricked out pro shooting equipment. Check em out.
