Re: Sig P238 owners

I sent my P238 off to the factory for warranty service. It arrived just last week and they contacted me today saying they will be replacing the gun at no cost to me. I contacted a local FFL, which charges $35 for transfers, and they sent in their info to Sig. I let the representative at Sig know abo...

Re: Good Range Day

I have had a lot of FTE issues with my Sig P238. It is even mangling the business end of the casings more than a third of the time. I tried 8 different types of ammo for it and waited until it was past any break in period before contacting Sig. They sent me a postage paid overnight return label to s...

Re: Sig P238 owners

I heard back from S&W on the P99 and it was not promising: Hello, we no longer have that part available, Umarex will be taking over the P99 product line as of January 1st 2013 you will be able to contact them for parts and service on that model. Paul Gazda Customer Service I guess now I have to ...

Re: Sig P238 owners

Quick update: I contacted Sig and they gave me a shipping label to return it for repairs. The label is valid for 30 days. I contacted S&W about the P99 via email last night and am awaiting a response. I am hoping that since I sent them a photo of the problem they will offer to just ship the new ...

Buying guns with a CHL

Howdy folks, I have a quick question about background checks when purchasing a gun as a CHL holder. I tried to search the forums but trying to search anything with "background check" just gets me every waiting room post ever created. So here we go: I heard on a podcast that once you ...

Re: Sig P238 owners

I acquired my P238 Scorpion via ghost industries.com and had it shipped to my friends gun shop in League City, TX. I am a tall skinny individual and the P238 is easily concealable on my body. The P238 is stovepiping and mangling brass cases quite a bit. It did it a lot at first and seems to do it le...

Re: I got PLASTIC!

Congratulations!

Just got mine yesterday and I carry the Sig p238 Scorpion. I have been pleased with my Don Hume holster thus far. What type did you order? We can move this to the gun room if you want but I would love to compare notes with another p238 user.

The wait is over! After waiting quite some time for my "mailed" license to arrive I finally have it in hand! I can tell that they hold first time licenses in the mail room for some time though and here is how: When I first applied for my license we had just moved here and were temporarily ...

Re: L-1 Fingerprinting Name Issue

The same thing happened to me. I noticed it on their paperwork when I went in and had the lady at the fingerprinting office change it. It is because the form that you fill out on the DPS website has it in a different order and uses the same info to autofill your data into the L-1 website. I'm surpri...
