Doing the same... Leaving my reserve alone and only shooting if I find ammo for a reasonable price. That said, I'm also not shooting or finding ammo at a reasonable price. Good thing ammo has a long expiration date. Hope I don't have to wait to see how long the expiration date really is. I'm thinking if people say a Twinkie can really last 20 plus years, my ammo can hopefully see the light of day again.

Re: Status of gun and ammo industries

I do however wonder how many containers are sitting on docks waiting to be unloaded. Surely there's got to be some serious shipments headed our way? I would think Foreign surplus shipments would be here by now unless the Feds are holding them up at the docks. Don't know, I'm not a logistics expert but with all the ammo factories around the world, I'd think we would start seeing supplies hitting the shelves hard. Given the resources on the Eastern side of the world and the profits to be made, with enough child labor it might (one of these days) show up at Dollar General when once supply meets demand. I still am holding out hope it will blow over within 6-9 months. If not....well I guess it's time to go fishing before the liberal side of thinking tries to make it illegal. With our country's luck lately, some kid will poke another kid's eye out in a classroom with a fishing rod then we'll have a whole new fight on our hands. No fishing poles over 7 inches allowed and a ban on rattle traps.

Re: Status of gun and ammo industries

It's sad ain't it... If you've got a .38 or .380 or .32 it can be fairly easily found. But finding ammo is like trying to get that one piece you need to win the McDonalds Monopoly game.... Very frustrating.... :banghead:
