I volunteer with youth organizations that receive support from NRA Foundation, plus I'm a NRA Trainer. Putting NRAF on autopilot is my best connection.

Re: Let’s talk .22 pistols
I like my Single Six but I have access to Ruger GP100 double action 10 shooter in 22LR through a local gun club and I'm a big fan.
All the semiautos I have access to are target pistols so I can't pick which one I prefer in a list of guns that are more accurate than me.

Re: Czech Republic may get a 2nd Amendment
If they really value their freedoms a #Czexit from the EU would be the more prudent course of action.
Even that article said the EU forced the Swiss to submit to more rigid EU firearms restrictions.

Re: HD for the elderly- need some suggestions
I would lean toward an AR pistol or SBR in either a pistol caliber or .223/5.56. 30 rds, little to no recoil, light weight, mounted flashlight, red-dot sight or iron sights and a green laser. I'm not a fan of lasers, but indoor, especially at night, it might be just what he needs. (A Form 1 SBR &qu...

I have an idea why.1blonde_qt wrote: I have very long hair and when I was at the gun case I bent over to take a closer look inside, my hair got in the way so when I flipped it out of my field of vision I noticed an officer took a very long, sweeping look at me from head to toe..not sure why

Re: AFTER the Wait is OVER
Just made my first outing. Planned to get milk and do the Wally Walk but passed Academy first. Stopped in. While at Academy saw the pink stock blued barreled Ruger 10/22 that has been on the wish list of Daughter of Airborneveteran for quite some time. The folks at Academy had already told me that t...

Re: I guess I'll Join the Party. February Application
O.K. this is where apparently updating status records on the computer is lower on the DPS priority list than getting licenses out the door (as noted on other threads in this forum).
Because today I see:
"Concealed Handgun License : Mailed "

Re: I guess I'll Join the Party. February Application
I had ignored this since my last post but today I looked for the first time in a couple of weeks. Today I see background check under review. Print pending. So I don't know how long it has been in this status but I'm optimistic now. I've lived many places but in same place for quite awhile and had so...
