Re: American Airlines Center - Dallas Circus

Here's a pretty lengthy discussion from a few years ago that seems to pretty well outline their position at the time. Maybe some of it has changed, but I agree; trying to change this while you're standing in line at a concert probably won't work out. It needs to be addressed by prior contact with people who can actually make decisions at the AAC.

Re: American Airlines Center - Dallas Circus

Now that I've looked a little closer, all the owners besides the City are listed as "Business Personal Property" accounts. The City's account is the only one listed as 'Commercial.'

Re: American Airlines Center - Dallas Circus

If you look up the address on the DCAD website, about 11 different owners pop up. Whatever the 'Center Operating Group' owns is valued at $29,160. The portion that has the city of Dallas listed as the owner is worth $199,084,260, which I suppose is the property and the majority of the building, but I don't actually know how this all fits together, though.

Re: American Airlines Center - Dallas Circus

I've seen 30.06 signs posted there (depending on the event), although they may not ultimately be ultimately enforceable. The Dallas County Appraisal District has several listings for the address, but the main owner appears to be the City of Dallas. I have seen metal detectors and security wanding people, again, it's different for different events. My guess is, that if they found you carrying, even with a CHL, you would not be allowed to enter by security.
