87 DAYS

Mine took 87 Days day from the day they received my application, untill the day I received it in the mail.

There was nothing wrong with my application, all was in order. I've saved all my corrospondence with the CHL office in Austin.

Oh well at least now I'm finally a 1st class citizen.

where are you guys seeing a threat? I am definitely not trying to threaten anyone. I don't know where you get that? I just would like to speak with someone in Austin about this, not threaten them. I just want to see what the trouble is, what I need to make my representative aware of, so we can fix t...

Check out http://www.packing.org
You find out just about anything you need to know there about any state you may visit.

And yes, MS and TX do have Reciprocity. Be sure you brush up on MS's laws though, because of course, since you are in Mississippi, you must obey their laws.

I was about 15 or 16 when I had mine. My Dad, younger brother, and I were all out dove hunting one weekend, I had been a hundred times, my brother hadn't gone with us much before. Anyway we had borrowed an 20 gauge shotgun for him to use. Well to make a short story shorter, we had some birds come up...

Thats great! Whats funny is that I figured that out not two days ago, and printed off my application for NH, and filled it all out. Now as soon as I get my TX CHL I can make a copy of it, and send off for my NH. What I love about NH, is that they have 14 days to issue the license, not 60. Oh well, h...

I would have sent mine in before, but I turned 21 last friday, so that was the soonest I could have sent it. 60 days more sure is a long time to...
