Up north, at the gym I belonged to, I would do my load/unload rituals in the corner of an unused racquetball court. There was little way for people to see inside. The only bad part is in racking the slide on a semi-automatic pistol, it is a little difficult to disguise the sound, which can echo strongly in a racquetball court. I was never confronted about the practice by management or another member, nor did I have a ND or anything else, though I suspect some people figured out that I took my personal safety much more seriously than the average NYS resident.Kalrog wrote:How do I conceal IN the locker room? Specifically how do I get changed? I think that carrying while I am lifting weights just won't work (although I can do it when I run). Do I need to take a bathroom stall break before and after working out and strap on in there or are there other ideas? Today (and most days) I am carrying a 1911 OWB strong side with a spare mag in the front left pocket.
