Just for reference, here is a program of thorough testing, akin to what HV was writing about earlier. What I like about this protocol is it gives the gun and ammunition a greater variety of opportunities to malfunction. It gets pretty dense/wordy, so get yourself a comfortable chair and beverage of choice:
