Just to be clear - did you send it certified mail, return receipt requested, and have you gotten that return receipt to show that it actually was received in Austin? If they received it, then I would wait until the end of next week before I start getting too worried. I paid for and did my application online on Jan 15th
Did my CHL class on Feb 9th
mailed on Feb 11th
and still havent gotten any confirmation from the state that they recieved it.
I check the texas.gov everyday for the last 2 weeks
My buddy which did his application on Jan 20th and both of us took the same CHL class on the same day "Feb 9th" and mailed them on the same day has confirmation that the state recieved and is doing the background check.
I called the customer relations line today and after being on hold for a half and hour, The gentlemen said it's probally not enter in the database yet, and that it usally show up 2-4 weeks after someone mails it.
And that if I dont see it on the texas.gov website in a couple more weeks that I need to resend a whole new packet. This is getting real frustating
