that kind of sucks. i sent my M4 to bushmaster for a canted front sight block. took 3 days to get there. they kept it 1 day and shipped it back the next day. it had a new barrel installed and was dead on accurate.

my brother sent his rifle to howa's contract place for repairs; the sight base was drilled crooked (not sure how they fix that). they sent it back saying nothing was wrong, and in the process they cracked the stock. it took them about 8 weeks to say nothing was wrong and damage it. he called howa and they sent him a new rifle in a week.

i guess each manufacturer is different, but i guess it also depends on who you're dealing with.
