that's funny. makes them sound like they are criminals. i was working when we had a mountain lion problem in the metro area. it killed one of our detective's dogs, who lived in the city. it got pretty ridiculous. every loose cat within the city limits prompted a call from a citizen who claimed to see this mountain lion. i don't know how anyone can mistake a cat for a mountain lion. i grew tired pretty fast of that.Wildscar wrote: The wild animals scattered when police arrived.
at night, you see all kinds of stuff. i worked in a very metro area, and i saw several foxes, possums, racoons, etc. there was a whole family of racoons that ate so good they could barely stuff themselves into the drainage holes. one night at 2am i saw two coyotes in the fast lane of a major roadway, just cruising down the road like they owned the place, before they ran a red light and took a left. :) there was a roost near the river where wild turkeys were always flying around.
