I burned up some powder a friend gave me also because it was unknown...
Turned out it was some kind of black powder and went up in a flash and burnt the heck out of my hand.

Hey all, I got my Grandfathers old .30 30 and want to make it shoot again. The rifling is pretty damaged. Anyone know where I might find a good quality barrel to replace the damaged one?

I personally would not just go shoot something for the fun of it, but I don't think the world will miss a few turtles. Unless you are seriously trying to thin a specific population (in a tank or something); maybe you will find a stick is just as much fun to shoot. They are not hard targets to hit. H...

if your priming a lot of cases without a progressive it looks like the way to go.
