Re: Quick question regarding alcohol
Been meaning to ask this. If I go to a restaurant with my family and have 1 (maybe 2) beers, are you still legally okay to carry as long as you remain under the legal limit?

Re: School District and concealed carry
I recently started substituting for a school district. I got an automated call today that they will be holding a special "Community meeting to discuss Concealed Handguns on Campus." I will be attending, and I'm extremely curious as to what this special meeting about Concealed Handguns wil...

Re: Does your mom know you carry?
Yeah she knows. She feels better about me having one due to my profession since I travel so much.
She's actually wanting to get her own. I think after the class time is reduced, we'll get her licensed.

Re: Dropped a loaded gun for the first time; all appears wel
Dropped my M&P .40 last week while getting out of my car. When I felt it fall,at first I was like  then all I could do was close my eyes, it was like time slowed, and the sound of it hitting the ground was terrible. The sound of a gun hitting the ground is almost unmistakeable. I looked a...

Re: Major advancements for Texas CHL holders
So just that I'm clear, this has all passed? If so, when will they be effective? Sorry if it's been asked, didn't want to go through 6 pages or so :P Most of the bills being passed become effective Sep 1. So they *have* passed. Excellent. One small step for CHL holders. And a Giant leap for people ...

Re: A Funny Buffalo Wild Wings Sign
Good for Buffalo Wild Wings! I will eat there whenever I can. If more people and establishments showed this kind of courage we wouldn't have all the senseless gun violence we have now. What if that movie theater in Colorado had that policy. Then maybe that tragedy would have been averted. Hey, hey ...

Re: Boston Tried a Police State and it Failed
Guess I will be the only one not afraid to post in disagreement. Are there any proven cases where somebody went outside and was arrested? I have not read about one. They asked people to stay inside and they did while they went house to house in a contained area looking for a terrorist believed to b...

Another scenario brought to you by Un0fficial
So I was driving down the road the other day, and I saw an officer with a vehicle pulled over with multiple occupants. As what happens often with me, a random scenario came through my head with: What if the occupants got out, and opened fire on the officer, he is outnumbered and possibly already wou...

Re: What should you do in different scenarios...
Can we please give a more... simple response, rather than "legal" speak? Example: "Yes, if someone draws a knife on you and you are in fear for your life, you can draw (but not discharge) your firearm in an attempt to make the threat run/leave without using deadly force." OR &quo...
