Re: Tweaking of Draft on TX CHL law changes
It might be a good idea to add this with regard to senate bill 299. h) It is a defense to prosecution under Subsection (a) that the actor, at the time of the commission of the offense, displayed the handgun under circumstances in which the actor would have been justified in the use of force or dead...

Re: School Contracts and CHL
Just glanced at the specifications, general conditions and supplementary conditions earlier and it is very clear that we are independent and not considered as employees. "The contractor shall at all times be an independent contractor, not an employee or agent of the owner, and the relationship ...

Re: Front Yard Open Carry
We all do a good deal of researching things, laws and even case law to understand when we have the legal right to use deadly force. The same should apply to people who call 911 on frivolous bull. Start giving out citations to these uneducated callers and force them to educate themselves on the laws ...

School Contracts and CHL
I work for a general contractor and unfortunately the school contract we are required to sign states that the contractor's employees are not allowed to bring firearms on school property. Unless we park on private property and walk to the jobsites, this effectively keeps us from even being able to ju...

Re: Army Corps of Engineers Lake - Legal Firearm
Federal property is restricted in reference to concealed carry, but this has nothing to do with concealed carry. I too would like a definitive answer. Not holding my breath though. I've read numerous discussions between people more educated in legal matters than I and I always seem to walk away mor...

Re: Army Corps of Engineers Lake - Legal Firearm
I always thought a Corp lake was federal property and therefore restricted. :headscratch It would be nice to find the definitive answer. Max Federal property is restricted in reference to concealed carry, but this has nothing to do with concealed carry. I too would like a definitive answer. Not hol...

Army Corps of Engineers Lake - Legal Firearm
Please correct me if you read this differently, but as I understand it, I can carry my unloaded pistol to my boat from my car. I can have my pistol on my boat if I'm going fishing. We anchor and drop a line or two while also swimming in the same area. Any problems with this? 327.13 Explosives, firea...

Sunday batches are most likely a hoax.AcesFull wrote:I'm right there with y'all. Praying for this elusive Sunday batch!!
If your trying to log in and see if yours is updated...and it seems a tad slow...it's not slow from being updated.
My constant checking is most likely to blame.
