Well, got the update today. Background check complete - manufacturing pending.

I mailed my packet on the same day, got my first update on the same day, and my status has not changed. I have no idea what makes one background check more complex or time consuming than another, but something is definitely slowing down my app. BTW - I've lived in Texas since I was two years old, I have no criminal record (other than a couple of old speeding tickets), and I don't owe any money to the state or federal government. So, I guess I'll keep waiting, but it is midly irritaing to see others get approved so quickly.un0fficial wrote:Wow, still "Background check pending" since Jan 25th...
