I was in Houston the other day, so I stopped by to visit my sister.
We were sitting in her living room visiting. The doorbell rang.

I asked, are you expecting anybody?

She says, no as she gets up to go to the door.

She walks right up to the door and opens it without a word.

I'm out of my chair and "draw"(out of sight of the entryway)

Bla, bla, bla,..... must be the wrong street etc.

I'm reholstering as my sister enters the living room.

She says, "oh sh.... did I almost get killed or something?"

We had the little talk about opening the door without knowing who is out side. AGAIN.

I asked her if she ever watches the Houston news.

She says, yah,but, tralala,lala, lala......

With some people it never sinks in until it's too late.
But I keep trying because she is my sister.

I'm not over reacting. I was thinking about the time she told me about calling an ad in the Greensheet for someone to weed the garden.
The guy that showed up was "really weird" according to her. He was asking her to go out with him and he kept calling her on the phone for weeks. That's just one of the stories.

I think one of us was adopted. No, it had to be me. Because my mother and my sister are just alike!!
