Houston 9MM update...

Freedom Munitions at Jones Rd and 290 had plenty of 9mm 115Gr FMJ brass casing today. More than 50 - 500 round cases (I didn't count). I paid $152 and change out the door for a case of 500. They had so much I didn't bother buying the other 500 to get me to my limit. I also saw plentiful .308 (7.62 NATO), .223 (5.56 NATO), .45, and .380 (I didn't check prices but they don't seem to be gouging at all).

They re-manufacture their own ammo there and seem to be ahead of the curve right now.

As others have said, the in-store inventory is different than what's shown on line.

If you're planning on going tomorrow, don't bother. Sign on the door said they would be closed tomorrow for Easter (they're already closed on Sundays).

I have enough 9mm now I will start going to the range again...

Here are directions to Freedom munitions, you are only 25 minutes away. They seriously had tens of thousands of 9mm there, 100+ boxes of 500 rounds. Give them a call to check and make sure though. Thank you. I was just looking them up on line after I saw this mentioned in another post. I appreciate the tip. It's a nice day for a ride. Think I'll get the bike out and head up there.

Tried the old Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 0800 trick at Academy in Sugar Land this morning. No 9mm came on last night's truck. Didn't look like they had much of anything else either...
