Re: City revised park rules, success!
It's bull that after 10yrs this has not been cleared up. Yeah they can arrest you but you will beat the charges. To me it's not worth the hassle. Our legislature should take action on this long ago.

Re: City revised park rules, success!
If they are locked and loaded inside a posted gun show then I guess they have the money to be a test case. I spend at least 2hrs inside the show and that is plenty of time for someone to smash and grab.cb1000rider wrote:Primarily because CHLs aren't always just "good witnesses". There are a few that are locked, loaded, and ready to take action if they roll up on a crime in progress. Want references? :-)

Re: City revised park rules, success!
Why? The ones here are posted so no one will be armed and they would be forced to leave their firearm in their vehicle. No ammo allowed in the building by customers so the guns people carry inside or what they bought would be unloaded. No parking lot security, sounds like a easy target to me.cb1000rider wrote: I'm pretty sure that it would be the last place on my list!

Re: City revised park rules, success!
If I see a valid 30.06 I will not carry regardless if its not legal to post it. I will have my unloaded, zip tied, firearm on me though cause if I was a criminal and wanted to steal guns I would go to a gun show parking lot.Keith B wrote:
That is an area where there is no case law. The reason being is the 30.06 is posted by the company that puts the gun show on, not the city/owner of the building. General consensus says that they can't enforce a 30.06 on city property, but that is one of those areas where you might have to fight it legally and spend a lot of money if they decide to arrest you. Use the search function and see the myriad of other times this has been discussed about 30.06 at a gun show in a city owned building.
If you decide you want to be a test case, we will give you all the moral all support we can afford....

You see my gun show thread? Does the above mean I can legally carry there cause it is a city owned building even though its posted?Keith B wrote:Doesn't matter if it is a 30.06 sign either in a City owned park.nightmare69 wrote:Good job but does unless its a 30.06 it does not matter what the sign says.
