What if I move and I'm still waiting?

Basically, I sent my application in the other week but in the past few days I've made the decision to leave my relationship and move out (long time coming, just never had the guts). I'd like to be out by April. They haven't reported my application as being received so I'm thinking that it would come after this time, unless there is a way to call and have them change it to my parent's address until I figure out my living situation.

Any advice?

I'm sure I could just come back and pick it up when it's ready, but that could be emotionally hard for both of us.
