Because it is nobody's business but mine. I have to give my DL to way to many people, I do not need them seeing anything to do with CHL. Might as well open carry.
I can agree with that.

I would think some type of subtle method (prefix, suffix, etc for example) could be implemented where only the people that 'need' to know (Law Enforcement) would be able to tell from a cursory examination.

CHL Driver's License Endorsement

Chas- what are the odds of getting this accomplished this Legislative session? Somewhere between slim and none? :lol:

Exactly which states have this provision escapes me at the moment, but wouldn't it be a whole heck of a lot easier to have an endorsement/flag/what have you embedded in a driver's license, for Texas residents? Seems like it would virtually guarantee compliance for "notification". One less piece of plastic to keep track of too....


I would think that non residents could still get issued seperate CHLs...
