For me it's a social thing, meeting and talking with folks from a lot of different backgrounds who share an interest with me.
And, I lead a parade of no less than 7 members, wife, kids, grandkids, brothers, sisters, BILs, SILs, nieces, nephews, everybody wants to go! .....Yes that's me carrying the range bag covered with MilSpec Monkey patches, Pampers and Even-Flo bottles sticking out, say hello when next you see me.
I've had lots of memorable moments from Wanamakers in Tulsa, the old SOF show in Las Vegas, 4 NRAAMs, etc.
