I might add that this gas station was recently posted 30.06 and 30.07 and we USED to gas up there a lot.

Re: Open Carry: what should we expect from LEO encounters?
Most of the replies so far have addressed the authority of a business owner to tell you to leave and I don't think anyone disputed this. But, regarding the OP's second scenario, who in a government owned arena that is illegally posted would have the authority to ask you to leave? The ticket puncher,...

Re: Possible home invasion shooting at Walden on Lake Housto
Seems like the shots were fired inside the residence. He may have ran out after them but that would seem inconsequential considering that anger could easily mistaken for panic or stress from the situation. Based on what we have I would not be too concerned about a GJ. Dad or BF might think twice as ...

Re: Kahr PM9..anyone Ankle Carry???
Pm9 in a Galco Ankle Lite. Works perfect. I like it when I have if to wear dress cloths because it conceals better. I also occasionally carry my XD40sub on my Ankle with the aforementioned Galco Ankle Glove and it works well but a little bulkier. Interesting comment on the boots. I find it harder wi...

Re: Should Gun Owners Use Tactics of the Left?
If you carried the thought process of using the tactics of the left you may be reduced to throwing poo at the store owners you disagreed with, (circa special session 2 of the Texas legislature). I for one will never throw poo at someone I disagree with

Re: Texas to Sturgis
We go very year but for different reasons than most. I work at the Mission at the Cross right at the northbound exit to Junction. Look for the big white cross. We spend our week helping sober up the drunks the cops drop off as well as helping stranded people find a way home (guys leave their gals al...

Re: Carrying at Church?
XD40SC on my left ankle. :-) I know I have seen several discussions about carrying at Church and I wanted to post a couple of questions. I have not carried at Church yet because I am not sure I could do it without being discovered. I play in our church band and our normal "uniform" is jean...

Re: Kahr PM40 ? The good and bad please
I have the pm9. Great little gun after break in. I've heard the 40 was a little snappy. If you have to have a 40 you could do like me and wait till the xds comes out in 40 hopefully by fall. I absolutely love my xd40sc. I will be taking my CHL on the 23rd and need to get a semi auto for the range te...

Re: Small carry gun Shield, LC 9, or a small Sig
I second the pm9/cm9. Great little gun once broken in and some polishing work. I'm also waiting ever so patiently on the XDs. My edc is currently an XD40sc so I'm actually waiting or the XDs 40.

Re: Check the chaimber!
Though its no substitute for a visual check I still love the "chambered round" indicator on my XD and Kahr. Just realized that i've been carrying an empty chamber every day for the last...who knows how many weeks/months... Full mag, nothing in the pipe. Ammo is precious these days so I hav...

Re: Sawed off shotgun... What to do with it?
I really thought about this one but when was the last buy back in Texas? Seems the direction our state legislature is heading in may be a while. Not that I'm complaining though. Hypothetically, of course. Sounds like it should be brought to the next gun "buy-back". Try to get a little cash...

Re: Sawed off shotgun... What to do with it?
Thanks for the input y'all. I'm assuming hypothetically that the stock is not worth anything and that it is just an old piece of junk and the barrel is a bit rusted so if said situation ever arises I would tell my friend to make little pieces out of the big pieces so as to not spend time making litt...
