If you (she) are dead set on getting a wheel gun, the 85 line from Taurus is hard to beat for the price. You can get an Ultralite .38spl for under $350 brand new. Great gun, but the sights aren't fantastic and you only have 5 slugs compared to your 10-13 with a Glock.
