Re: Eviction Notice
It's actually a notice to vacate. They have not yet received a court order to evict us, since they have not yet proven to the court that there was any foul play. I don't know how (besides the fifth amendment) an eviction is avoidable, but they do have to prove it, and since all they have I suppose i...

Re: Eviction Notice
I appreciate the generosity. I'm way down in College Station, and I may be able to get my parents to help me a little bit, but things are tight as it is. I simply do not want an eviction to affect my ability to get into another apartment or (from what I've read online, with a grain of salt) hurt my ...

Eviction Notice
Howdy, I've been on these forums a bit since I have my CHL, but now I need some advice from anybody who would be willing to have an input. I am in college, and I have one roommate. Last night, my roommate was performing what he called a "safety check" right through the floor of our duplex ...

Re: Laws on Gun Storage?
Currently I keep my handgun on me or locked wherever I go. I just wanted to verify that there weren't any laws saying that I had to have a safe or have my AR bolted down somehow. Sometimes I leave one of my handguns on my desk since I'm the only person living in my apartment, so I wanted to make sur...

Laws on Gun Storage?
After a quick search I couldn't find a previous topic, so if this is a repost forgive me. Are there any laws that I should know about regarding proper storage of firearms? Am I required to have locks on them or have some way of preventing intruders from having easy access? I have locks on all of my ...

Re: "Waiting Room"
Went to mailed on 3/30. Still no trace. Wonder why it takes so long for mail to get from Austin to college station.

Re: Legally carry class 3 firearm?
Sorry, I know that was a strange question. It just crossed my mind, and I wanted to know if there was any restriction on carrying like a glock 18 or things of that nature. I'm aware that it would be foolish to actually do so, considering how uncontrolled it would be in an already dangerous situation...

Re: Legally carry class 3 firearm?
I apologize, but I don't know what those acronyms mean. I haven't been here for very long.

Legally carry class 3 firearm?
Howdy folks, Just a quick question for anyone who might know. If you possess a class 3 license and a concealed handgun license, is it then legal to conceal a class 3 handgun? I'm not certain that it would be wise anyway, since it has the potential to be less easily controlled in the event of a confr...

Three days to do go green on paperwork, do background check, manufacturing pending, then manufacturing. Might get it in under 40.

Born out of country, Consular birth certificate is fine
Just wanted to help anyone with questions about the BOC documents. I called up the DPS and asked if just a consular birth certificate is fine with no other BOC docs and they said it was fine. That was a month ago, now my background check is complete for assurance. (Brit born to American parents. Dua...
