With kids/family - any .22LR I kept a laser sighted RugerMkII .22 pistol just for the kids. Lots of oooooo's and ahhhh's when it came out. The poor old coke cans never had a chance.
Goofing off at the rifle range - 1898 US Krag .30US Army. Accurate and a hoot to outshoot the goombahs with the latest "tactical" rifle.
Of course I can't outshoot them off the bench but offhand they stink.
Goofing off in the woods - 1847 Colt Walker .44 cap&ball revolver.
