I have a couple of carry options that work for my XD9:
  • - Comp-Tac CTAC with maximum forward cant anywhere from 3:00 to 5:00 under a loose-fitting, untucked, woven shirt
    - SmartCarry in some roomy pants and a long shirt to cover the bulge
I've gotten over my initial printing paranoia, for the most part. I'm built like a pole - straight up and down on all sides - so anything I put on my hip or waist is going to stick out. But even though you can tell something is there, it sure doesn't look like a gun. I think if you're just careful about what you wear, and find a good holster, you won't have any problems.
