This story is so strange but it shows how fast things can happen.
2 weeks ago this coming Monday, a very good friend of mine went to the doctor with a cough that had lingered for a couple of weeks. The doc did a chest X-ray that showed a mass. He scheduled him for Wednesday for a CT and biopsy. So the doc did normal pre-op exam including blood tests and EKG on Tuesday. Something was not right and they sent him immediately to the hospital and to ICU. While there he actually flatlined but was revived. Wednesday they installed a pacemaker and scheduled biopsy for Thursday which he had.. Friday evening he received the results, stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He started his chemo on Saturday morning but docs said he had 4-5 months left. He could not handle the chemo and actually started throwing up blood from all of the nausea so they stopped the treatment. Monday the changed his prognosis to 2-3 weeks. They took him home to live out his days on Tuesday. At around 4:30 today he went to be with our savior.
Please pray for his wife and family as this has hit them and us so hard. We are all still shocked at the speed it happened
