I see where someone on the forum has confirmed the pier is owned by the City, so I was going to photograph the sign, and get the address and honcho of the PP head office. I would plan to write one letter and send it to both places.
I'll PM when I do, if I don't hear from you.

Re: Pleasure Pier Galveston
I posted this in another thread that was discussing essentially the same thing:
"Unless someone in Galveston wants to pursue this, I'll be down there in a week or so, and will investigate this. Since my son is a resident and in the process of getting his LTC, we will file a complaint with the PP and the City."

Re: Pleasure Pier Galveston
Before you send a complaint to the AG, I think you're supposed to notify the entity first that they're in violation and ask them to remove the sign. If they don't comply within a certain timeframe, then you notify the AG, IIRCTexasJohnBoy wrote:If you go to http://arcg.is/1G8sYiw and search for R number R109231, it's shown as owned by the city. Has anyone sent a complaint to the AG yet?Do you have to be a resident of the city and/or county that the violation is to send in a complaint?
Charles Cotton has posted some instructions here on the forum somewhere.
