I have used about 5 of them. What do you want to do with it? Are you wanting JUST a basic set of blogging tools or do you want blogging plus more? Some blogging software is dang near a full CMS and WordPress is one of those. That isn't bad, but it might be more than you want/need.

Moveable Type (those 2 are the biggest and most popular)
Serendipity (My favorite)
