Re: Lila Cockrell Theater (San Antonio).....30.06 ???

If I remember correctly, it is owned by the City, so 30.06 would not apply.

Re: XS SIGHTS

If you are looking for tight grouping and/or shooting the center out of the 10 ring, these sights are not for you. If you are looking for quick target acquisition in combat-style shooting, these sights are great!

Re: Comic Relief: Gun Show 30.06 Sign?

Who owns the events center? Not sure. The Show was in the Event Center behind the Freeman. It would stand to reason that it is owned by Bexar County, just like the Freeman, but I just don't know. I forgot to mention, they did have someone out front asking everyone if they had any firearms. I just s...

Comic Relief: Gun Show 30.06 Sign?

I went to a gun show in the Event Center near the Freeman Coliseum, San Antonio. One the way in, there was a sign that read, "No loaded firearms" and in smaller lettering it continued, "this includes CHLs." I looked all around and saw no proper 30.06 signs, so I paid my money and...

Maybe this is the Reader's Digest condensed version.

Or maybe their sign maker charged by the letter. :biggrinjester:

Re: Any advice on how to go to a US POST OFFICE?

I often need to go to a US Post Office rather than a drop box (for various reasons). Assuming you are going to mail something and not check your PO Box, I recommend their Click-n-Ship service. Buy a cheapie postal scale at Wal-Mart or Office Depot/Max, use their flat-rate boxes, etc. to help you de...

Re: I'd vote for him

If someone from Kenya can do it, why not someone from Canada? Not to sound like a grammar Nazi, but shouldn't that be, "why not someone from Canada, eh?" "rlol" Sorry, I couldn't resist. Seriously, I'm not 100% sure I would vote for him, but he definitely has my undivided attent...

I don't remember what the CHL instructor said during my training, but in my mind, I "heard" him say is that the only acceptable blood-alcohol level is 0.00.

The baby power worked for me, but only temporary. I went to Wal-Mart and bought some of those felt sticker things and put it on the backs of the clasps. Problem solved.

Re: Texas September renewal with valid Utah license

... If so, since I have an active Utah carry permit, would I be allowed to carry until I received my renewed Texas CHL? Utah CFP laws changed a couple years so ago. In order for your Utah non-resident permit to be valid, your Texas CHL must be valid. If I understand it right, that means if one expi...
