Re: Academy and Buying Ammo and carded?
I heard about their new policy in a tweet from Guntalk. The corporate office has directed the stores to remove all modern sporting rifles from the display, Any "large" purchases of ammo require the purchaser produce an ID. The identity is recorded in a database for an unreported purpose. I...

winchester 44 mag hp 13.75 sports authority
I almost had to buy a 44 just for the deal. The Sports Authority at 646 & 45 has Winchester 44 magnum ammo for 70% off. It is their last day. I picked up 10 boxes of 20 gauge for $2 each.

Re: ACTION NEEDED! Employer parking lot bills
The bill was amended to exclude school districts. Is my safety less important because I work for a school district? I have no desire to carry while at work, but I see no reason that I can't have a handgun in my locked car. If my car breaks down on a commute to and from Houston before and after work,...

Re: SB730 Employer Parking Lot Bill Passes Senate
That's almost great news. I work for a school district. Why couldn't they work out a compromise like requiring a trigger lock on the gun on school property? Why is my safety less important during my commute? What if you work for HISD and your car breaks down to or from work? Some of the neighborhood...

Re: i need suggestions for a gun for my wife
What reliability problems did you have with the Bersa? After well over 1000 rounds have only had one time that mine had any problem. When I first got it, I bought some cheap Eastern European ammo from the range and one round failed to fully eject. I have yet to talk to anyone who owns one tell me it...
