I wasn't checking too frequently, so I'm not sure. We left for 10 days of vacation and my CHL was waiting in the mailbox when we got back. I submitted all my documents as attachments on-line 7/9 and received my CHL on 7/23. I was prepared for a month-long wait so the quick turn around was a nice surprise.
