When I took the CHL course there they had 1 instructor for the class/written test and the owner ran you through the timed course of fire.

Bring your own weapon,50rounds of ammo and eye/ear protection...but if you dont have or dont bring eye/ear protection they will provide it for her no problem.

They dont do finger prints.You have to go to the local Sheriff's Dept to get that done.As for the pics, I had mine done at walgreens b/c they do passport photos pretty cheap..like $5 I think.

The hardest part of the class is staying awake or sitting still for so long,but they do take breaks every so often to stretch your legs and such.If you read the material carefully and pay attention the test is easy.Plus they go over a review of the test verbatim orally before you take it so you pretty much know what to do.

I took my CHL class at LionStar in Huntsville back in Aug. I've been to Shooter's Station and they're nice people. :smile:
