Re: TX DPS CHL & social security numbers
Isn't this a moot point? You're applying to a department that already has all of your personal information, especially if you have a driver's license, and I'm pretty sure if DPS really needs your social they can get it. Not trying to be offensive, or anything, just asking a question. I'm new here to...

Re: Fort Worth Public Library
Bah, I always move too soon. Part of it says: Want to know something interesting? 4413 no longer exists. ;) That may be true, but the first point stating employees must have permission from the City Manager is still valid. Actually, it is true. And when you write they "Must" have permissi...

Re: Fort Worth Public Library
Is there a Fort Worth city ordinance somewhere prohibiting employees from concealed carry at the library? I'm almost certain there is, but I can't seem to find it. I know schools, court buildings and Fed buildings are off limites, as well as properly posted signs on private property, but I'm not su...

Application submitted, how long until snail mail gets there?

I'm also looking to avoid submitting to another background check. I don't want the government knowing how many guns I have.

WTB - Smith And Wesson M&P45 near Fort Worth
Looking for a good condition M&P45, preferably full sized. Doesn't need to have any special bells or whistles, just needs to be reliable. Thanks!

Quick question about classes
I may be moving from Southern California to the Dallas area in the next few months and I will definitely be applying for my CHL once I get there. I served 11 years in the Marine Corps and was wondering if the requirement for safety classes is satisfied by my military training (specifically the multi...
