Re: September Apps
I wish that DPS would at least send a confirmation e-mail that they have received our documentation. It's been 45 days since I mailed it via first class mail, and I have yet to get any update on the website. If I knew then what I know now, I would have bought a scanner and submitted it all on-line.

Re: September Apps
Is the FastPASS receipt required? I didn't see it on the checklist, so I didn't include it.bluerooster02 wrote:Still at this screen:Teamless wrote:Does it say what is required that has not been received?bluerooster02 wrote:Still listed as "awaiting required materials."
Did you send in all necessary documents and materials?
Did you get a letter from them yet stating something is needed?
I would think after 40 days or so, a phone call or email to them to see what required materials you are missing.
License Status: Application processed online. Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials. Once the application and materials have been received by Concealed Handgun Licensing and processing has begun, a more detailed status will appear on this page.
I included my Checklist, CHL-100, and FastPASS receipt in my submission.
Haven't had any communication from them to date. Sent an email this morning asking them to confirm that they received submission on 9/25.

What about taking a digital picture?[/quote]escapedNJ wrote:I would have uploaded it on line, but I don't have a scanner to scan the CHL-100 or my DD 214 onto the PC. I knew I was going to need one of those some day.
That's a great idea, I hadn't thought of that. Now where's that dang CHL-100 I had. Rats! Shoulda made a copy.

Applied on line on 25 Sep
Finished the CHL class on 28 Sep
Got finger printed on 8 Oct
Mailed checklist and docs on 9 Oct
Now, I'm just waiting for the first status update. I may have messed up by not sending the checklist and docs by certified mail, return receipt requested. I sent it first class mail,
so now I have no idea if they even got it. Did most of you sent it certified mail?
