Got my plastic in the mail yesterday. Had my first outing today, all is well in the world. See y'all on other posts now as this chapter is closed.

Well my status went to MAILED overnight so looks like I will be camped out by the mail box for the next however many days!! I'm really glad this fourm is here the dialog, having others in a similar situation helps get through this long process. It's been 68 total days counting weekends and holidays since I mailed all of my info. My next step is the long awaited Wally Walk as soon as I get the plastic. I will post my first experience if there is a place for that.

Hurry up US Mail!!!! Lol

Mine was in the "Manufacturing Pending" status last Friday (12/6 ) when I checked and it changed to "Manufacturing" yesterday and "Mailed" today.

Mailed everything 10/4 just to recap. Still waiting for an update, no change in status at all. I did call , sat on hold for nearly an hour. The lady was very nice and said basically , they were backlogged to massive proportions. I was hoping to have my CHL by Thanksgiving, but now I to will hope I get it by Christmas. I am also glad there are others in the same boat with me. It helps.

License Status: Application processed online. Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials. Once the application and materials have been received by Concealed Handgun Licensing and processing has begun, a more detailed status will appear on this page.

I know that it all depends on the individuals county that they live in as well for the background part, if im not mistaken.

I still have the same waiting for documents on the screen. Maybe since the Oct 1st folks are getting theirs mine will be close around the corner. Since they sent me the email on my inquiry ,I haven't heard a thing. Funny thing is I bought a new handgun a few weeks ago and my background check took all of 2 min.

Well I got 2 e-mails back from the DPS-RSD the 1st one said "thanks for contacting the DPS we will respond to your request as soon as we can", they actually used a whole lot more words but thats the basis. The 2nd e-mail said that they recieved all of my CHL info via the attachment i sent with my e-mail inquiry and would forward it to a CHL Specialist for review. Not sure if that will speed things upany , but some response is better than nothing at all.

I went ahead and uploaded all copies and submitted online this morning. In the customer relations section. Don't know if this will help or confuse things but it made me feel better. I didn't send my package registered mail. I just sent it regular mail. ( my mistake) .
