I had a guy bang on my door around 3AM one night back when I was living in RI.

I went to the door with my Gold Cup, in Condition 3, and told him that the person he was asking for didn't live here.

When he continued banging on the door, I racked the slide, chambered a round and ordered him to leave.

The next sound I heard was someone rapidly headed down the stairs. A quick look out my kitchen window revealed someone booking it down my driveway and thence down the street.

I never bothered to call the cops.

It wasn't a great neighborhood. I figure the guy was looking to score some dope, and had the wrong house.

After that, I upgraded the flimsy old wooden door to a nice steel door. I figured it was the least I could do for the dirtballs in the local area.
