Unfortunately, because of two moving violations I had my application is being reviewed by the "legal department" and will most likely be denied. There is no time frame when you application is sent there so waiting would be a waste of time for me. Ironically this makes thing easier. I had sought legal advice before applying and was told that everything would be kosher so I may appeal the decision or wait another year or maybe apply in FL.
ladyl: you should called , just make sure you got good reception and enjoy the music lol
Oh crap. Moving violations!? I thought those are accepted... I have points on my license!
What does moving violations have to do with a CHL ?
As I stated above I emailed mine on 10/28, a day after I took the class. I did the App and finger prints way back in June and waited until Sept., so I could take the class with my Daughter after she turned 21. Maybe thats why mine has updated before some of yours have?SWK8 wrote:Well finally an update this morning "Manufacturing Pending"![]()
Submitted online 10/28, got first update on 12/19 and Manufacturing Pending 01/08
LOL!!!LadyLightening wrote:The DPS website is down!! Hopefully that means it's update time
LadyLightening wrote:Whoopee Freakin Do. I finally got a reply from my email back in November... I know my chl-100 was sent in via snail mail and then I emailed it a few weeks later but this still irritates me that she can't say for certain if they have it. I mean it's only coming up on 3 months... No big deal or anything...
Dear Ms. Z
Thank you for using the Regulatory Services Division’s website.
At this time we show only missing your CHL-100 training form. No other documents are needed for your application. It’s advised that you put a cover letter with your name and identifying information along with the form above. If you are certain the CHL 100 was mailed along with the other documents, please allow more time for it to be placed into our system.
Our mailing address:

Keep in mind that it will take 4-5 weeks after your mailed documents arrive at our office before you will see a status change online. If you have already mailed this form within the past 4-5 weeks, then it hasn’t been enough time for our system to show receipt of this document yet.
Yup! I talked to a person the other day that told me the same thingjmra wrote:Just because someone has gotten an update and you haven't doesn't mean they are ahead of you. Many have received their license in the mail without ever receiving an update.WyattP wrote:Received by mail on 28th. Still no update.
To the people who are "ahead" of others despite a later delivery date, did you guys email your docs or what?
