The newest branch of JSC Federal Credit Union (Pineloch & Clear Lake City Blvd) just put one up.

I disarmed myself and went in to deposit my check. When I asked about the sign, I was told that it was "Federal Policy" and that it was the same "federal regulation as schools, churches, and bars". What's funny is the teller, Ross, told me that he had a CHL himself; I guess he must have fallen asleep in class. He also had the nerve to tell me that he "viewed me as a threat" if I was armed, and that is what the sign was for.

The game warden working overtime began to eavesdrop on our conversation, but I wasn't having any of it and closed both of my accounts then and there, I felt like an absolute criminal in my own bank. I thanked the warden for his understanding in not getting involved on my way out, and he just smiled and said "that's your right".

I'll be letting my family and close friends know about this, my mother (CHL holder) and father (Veteran, retired Federal Agent and CHL holder) have already told me that their accounts will be moved from JSC by next week.
