I thought it was a myth. It is amazing how many ppl are very strong on the belief that it is illegal

I am not "interstate" and we dont do City contract.

Can anyone direct me to the laws referring to the carrying of a firearm in a DOT regulated vehicle?......ie..a tow truck....

Many people strongly claim that it is illegal but cant show proof. I know that I had to pull my pistol on a guy several months ago (while I was driving a wrecker) and the cops said nothing to me about it and in fact told the guy I pulled it on that he certainly could have been legally shot. Again I had another problem that led to the cops being called out and I was disarmed "for the officers safety" but other than that my pistol never come into play or was even known about. //side note.....I was not to happy about being disarmed in view of the ppl I had called the cops on. They did call my work about it but due to my boss believing it to be illegal, they did not believe them .


Please no Personal Opinions or hearsay. I need the proof of the written law.
