I learned all of my Gun and Knife safety from my Grandad. He was a Royal Ranger Leader for 40+ years, maybe more. I took all he taught me to Heart. I am Very picky about Gun and Knife safety. To the point that I wont let my MOM hand me a knife the wrong way. He is Her Dad so she respects it totally. Till now, Fortunatly, I havnt had any N/Ds or other mishaps. I PRAY I keep my record clean.

I totally agree with both sides of this story.......
YES your weapon SHOULD be checked everytime...YOUR gun is YOUR responsability.....
NO she SHOULDNT have unloaded it....or at the very least asked him to unload it or told him RIGHT THEN that she had.
