Name/address change for CHL
My daughter got married and moved into a new house. I know she was supposed to update within 30 days and she had tried to call DPS in Austin multiple times and cannot get anyone to answer the phone. Well she is well past her 30 days so what should she do now? Is there a form she can download and mai...

Re: Cannon jumped in my bag at GRB Show
Funny how they tend to do that.
I had a Ruger Super Redhawk 7 1/2" 454 Casull jump in my safe, through the internet at that!
I now have a fascination with big bore revolvers. This will not be good for the bank account.

Re: Help me choose a .45 ACP
What would be the primary use of the weapon? Carry, night stand, car, etc??? Carry would be secondary and the others more primary The 3 guns I have now are all easily carryable, so I figure the next should be larger. That being said, I think you are on the right track with the G21SF. I have both th...

$450 for mine from Sean Cody and I was happy to pay it. I'm not taking chances with regulated weapons. YMMV.Carry-a-Kimber wrote:$29.95 for Quicken Willmaker Pro, ~$650 for a trust from a lawyer with NFA expertise.ipscshooter wrote:Just curious... Re: Gun Insurance....worth it ot not?
I am at the point where my homeowners insurance is not sufficient for the contents of my gun safe and was wondering if it is worth getting seperate insurance for the attitude adjusters. :fire I know that I have NRA coverage for each one up to $1000 but was considering looking for additional coverag...

Re: Kel-tec Warranty - Original Owner Only
I've never understood that type of policy. You are warrantying your product, not the owner. And not that I am advocating lying but how would they know if you are the original owner or not? Technically they require a copy of the purchase receipt. They are "grandfathering" a lot of guns tho...

Re: Why shoot a threaded barrel without a comp?
...I was really curious about if there was some hidden benefit to shooting with a threaded barrel with nothing on it No real benefit to it. Some pistols come from the factory with threaded barrels, because they are marketed to a specific market that might use them. The ones that come to mind right ...

Re: Will Harris County Sheriff sign Form 4?
I don't live in Harris County but I've also hear that it's pretty much a big no.
I went the trust route. There are so many more benefits going the trust route vs individual that it was a no brainer for me.

Re: A decision! Well almost...
get the 19, it does everything. If you are getting a Gen4, try to stay away from 115gr ammo, and make sure you put 500 or so rounds through it to make sure it doesn't have any malfunctions. I also suggest talon grips, heinie s8s, and 4.5 ranger trigger from ghost triggers This is the reason I say s...

Re: Any logic to less popular rounds?
While the "popular" calibers will always be in my lineup, I have my share of "non popular" calibers as well. I just make sure I always have a good supply of ammo for all of them on hand. I don't let ammo availability dictate what calibers I purchase. I purchase what I feel is the...
