Glocks are excellent firearms. I've carried them and trusted my life to them for many years. I've never had any problems, period. The 19/23 and 36/30S IMHO are the cream of the crop. (9, 40, 45) All of these are about the same size/weight.S&W is also excellent. My wife carries a Shield 9mm and I can't even get her to let me shoot it. I have a Bodyguard 380 for deep concealment to alternate with my LCP. My son in law has a SW9VE but didn't like it. He bought a Glock 17.
