Try Real Alternative (it includes Media Player Classic).RoyGBiv wrote:I've had zero luck with streaming this... I'm able to get it started (both video and audio) using VLC (I won't load Real Player, it's too spammy and performance is bad).. VLC will stream about 3 minutes before it freezes. Forget about skipping ahead.baldeagle wrote:They're recorded. Anyone have this saved to their local drive and care to share it?
Cheers.

I was riding home on my horse, but still listening (not watching!) on my phone. Good stuff. Hoping for a report from Charles on his reading of how things went.

I flipped to that window as soon as I saw you mention costume, but he wasn't speaking yet. Had you seen him in the seats or what?

Costume? What did I miss? I'm working in other windows and listening with headphones.JKTex wrote:A costume? Is this for real?
ETA: Oh! Now I see. Maybe my stream is lagging behind. Paul Revere just showed up for me.

Not sure about if they don't finish.
Charles just spoke against 1747.
(I got busy and missed the beginning; not sure why we jumped to near the bottom of the list.)

Glad you're there. Are you in the gallery or elsewhere doing something useful?
Although the prom invitation was a nice touch.

Re: HB3218 set for hearing April 18th!
The House is in lunch recess until 1:11 p.m., when it will finish the local & consent calendar items (6 more items).
Looks like this means the committee won't meet until after they adjourn after that.

Re: HB3218 set for hearing April 18th!
I'm always telling people to read all the way down, and I always remember the exceptions for b4-6, but this time I forgot c. I'll blame it on the fact that the last two times I went to the capitol, it was on school field trips with my kids, so I didn't carry or use the CHL line.jb03 wrote:Reread the exception. Unless given 30.06 notice, you CAN carry at any meeting of a government entity.tornado wrote:No.TREKFAN wrote:Can I carry there?
46.035(c) says: A license holder commits an offense if the license holder intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly carries a handgun under the authority of Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code, regardless of whether the handgun is concealed, at any meeting of a governmental entity. (emphasis added)
If HB3218 becomes law, that part goes away (if I'm reading it correctly).
