Re: Panera and Target 30.06?
CEO Ron Shaich added that Panera was "respectfully requesting" customers to leave their firearms at home, but will continue to follow state and local firearms laws. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/09/08/panera-gun-firearms-moms-demand-action/15285663/" onclick="win...

Re: Anyone from Laredo? Need information
Thank you both for the well thought out replies. I have actually lived in Monterey before while in the service and am indeed missing the coast, Route 1, and Big Sur among other things. I will be a few hours from those locations being in Fresno, but they are worth the drive. California and Massachuse...

Re: Anyone from Laredo? Need information
Good luck. If you have any questions about CA gun laws, feel free to shoot me a message. The Cal Guns site is also very active but can be overwhelming with information. Keep in mind you'll also need to register any guns you bring with you and there are some onerous restrictions around rifles and sh...

Re: Anyone from Laredo? Need information
Thank you for the replies everyone. For a number of reasons I've decided to go with Fresno. Fresno County appears to be quite liberal with their issuance of CHLs and I'll only need to limit my magazines to 10-rounds to be compliant with their draconian rules. This definitely puts off my AK plans but...

Anyone from Laredo? Need information
I have a hard choice ahead of me and I need to make a decision by tomorrow. I've got an internship coming up and three locations to choose from. I currently live in Austin. My choices are Boston, MA; Laredo, TX; and Fresno, CA. I'm not going to let gun laws dictate my choice but I'd be lying if I sa...

Re: Questions about after basic training and before during A
You should be given most necessities you need for training at in-processing for AIT. Between basic and AIT you'll have what is issued during basic such as ACUs and related uniform gear. Toiletries and other items will be on you of course and you can get those at the PX, but I'd wait until you arrive...

Re: Holster with Tac Light
I have one OWB kydex holster formed for the Glock 23 + TLR-2 and the gun itself will not snap into place without the light attached. It probably depends on make and material.

Re: Why no FULLY covered trigger in many holsters?
I believe the intention is to allow one's finger to be at the trigger at the point of draw, ready to slide inside the guard. This is not for everyone and the debate of utility and safety could go on forever.

Winchester Ranger T-series
Winchester Ranger T-series have been near impossible for me to find anywhere online, but I found these guys CCWAmmo and have placed multiple orders from them. Unless you're a LEO most brick-and-mortar stores will not sell you this ammunition. They appear to be a small husband and wife outfit but the...

Re: Replacing Carry Ammo?
How often do you swap out your carry ammo for fresh out of the box stuff? My carry ammo has been in my Sig for well over a year now and the Critical Defense stuff is showing some signs of being in a carry gun for that long. I recently picked up a couple of new boxes and am thinking of replacing it ...
