Good luck. They've been hostile towards long gun & black powder pistol open carry. It will be interesting to see how they respond when licensed handgun open carry is legal.

Personally, after years of open carry as a plain clothes police officer, I see no reason to open carry. That is just my personal opinion.
Probably not, if the only complaint is MWG - something that will be legal.
It will only be legal with a license. The police will be obligated to investigate a MWAG, and the only way to confirm that you are licensed will be to contact you.
Police aren't obligated to do anything. The Supreme Court ruled that the police have no duty to protect.
