Bought one for our command vehicle to hold spare radios, batteries, binos, gloves, etc. and it works well. Would recommend. The only suggestion I would add is consider one with a back plate or with something that keeps the organizer from sagging away from the back of the seat it's attached to. Once ...

Built one earlier this year w/ almost the same specs on your want list... but also added a CMC trigger. The trigger is great, clean break, easy install, and less expensive than alot of other trigger upgrades. I would buy one again.

+1 for trying the Appleseed program. You have to get the basics down since any fundamental errors will be magnified at longer range (walk before you run...)

Most larger cities have a PSAP, Public Safety Answering Point, that you connect to when dialing 911. They ask "what is the nature of your emergency," verify your location and callback number on E911, then transfer you to the appropriate resource (Fire, PD, EMS). Most likely a reported shoo...

Started with a VFD while still in high school, soon followed by EMT, then Paramedic certification. Worked urban EMS for 10 years full time.

Currently am a driver for a Fire/Rescue department north of Dallas.
