Re: The Real Texas Gunshow Bell County Expo Center April 23-24
To follow up on what I wrote above...eventually someone is going to have to be the proverbial "test case". Let's take the Bell County Expo center as an example. - I buy a ticket and I walk up with my CC handgun, concealed & loaded, say in my waistband at 6 o'clock. - Do they wand peop...

Beiruty wrote:IMHO, it is good idea. Why there is more ND in the gun shows? Because many first time gun buyers go there to learn what is available out there.
You do realize in order to openly carry a handgun or to conceal carry you must have a LTC right? Those aren't first time gun buyers/owners.

Central Texas Airshow 2016
On the website it says no weapons are allowed... http://www.centraltexasairshow.com Now I know that isn't effective notice. But let's say I do show up and they have a 30.06 sign at the entrance. Would this be legal? From what I understand the Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport is owned a...

DL # and Address both Wrong on CHL and Carrying in Texas Capitol Building
Recently PCS'd back to Texas from Alabama. I previously had a NV DL but it was about to expire so yesterday I went and got a TX DL and surrendered my NV DL. Also added to that my address on my CHL still has my Alabama address, but I've already went onto the website and updated that information. Ther...

Military Moving to Fort Hood, TX Questions on Updated Laws
So I was stationed in Fort Bliss, TX for around 3 years and the Army moved me to Alabama for about 8 months. Anyways I'm headed back to Texas, Fort Hood more specifically, at the end of January. A few questions regarding the updated laws... 1. Is my current CHL now what's termed the LTC and allows m...

Re: Figuring out if Somewhere is Owned or Leased by the Gove
I did that however for the example I posted above it doesn't even show that address exists. Also I search for the El Paso zoo which I know is owned by the city and it only shows the concessionaire not the city owning it.

Figuring out if Somewhere is Owned or Leased by the Governme
How do you guys generally do this? I'm not sure if there is an easier way than scouring their website and researching the people running it? I was looking for information on the following place but it's not 100% obvious... http://elpasoexploreum.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return ...

Texas State Fair CHL Question
I know that you are able to CHL at the Texas state fair aside from the Cotton Bowl. I have never been to the fair before and was wondering what type of events I would miss out on in the Cotton Bowl if I chose to go to the fair and CHL? Any other general tips about the fair will be greatly appreciated.
